My Sports Resume Australia explains here what information is collected, why it is used and how an account can be deleted.
Information we collect
Account information can include an email address, authentication identifiers and membership status. Athlete profiles can include a display name, age group, sport, club, location, positions, statistics, goals, achievements and parent or guardian approval information. Users may also upload profile images, thumbnails and sporting highlight videos.
How information is used
Information is used to create and operate sporting resumes, manage private or approved highlights, support safe opportunity applications, verify sporting professionals, route structured contact requests and provide account support. Under-16 contact requests are controlled through an approved parent or guardian.
Service providers
Supabase provides authentication, database and private media storage services. Stripe provides website billing and invoices. Google Play will provide Android billing when native paid membership is introduced. These providers process only the information needed to deliver their services under their own privacy and security obligations.
Sharing and public visibility
My Sports Resume does not sell personal information. Private media is not public. Resume-visible information and approved highlights are shown only according to the athlete or parent-managed visibility controls. There are no direct messages, comments, followers or public social feed.
Security and retention
Data is transmitted over encrypted connections. Access controls separate account owners, parents, verified sporting professionals and administrative reviewers. Information is retained while an account is active and only as long as reasonably required for account operation, safety, fraud prevention, legal obligations and billing records.
Children and junior athletes
Profiles for athletes under 16 require a parent or guardian to manage approval and contact. Junior contact details are not made available to scouts or player managers. A verified professional must submit a structured contact request to the responsible adult.
Your choices
You can update profile information and media visibility through your account. You can request deletion of the account and associated profile data through the account deletion page. Some limited records may be retained where required by law, safety investigations, fraud prevention or financial recordkeeping.
